Teaching Experience
My experience in childcare and education spans a wide range—from supporting the early development of infants, to o ering meaningful youth work, and engaging adults in lifelong learning. I’ve taught students from age 5 through to adulthood, in settings such as maktabs, private tuition, and community learning spaces. This has allowed me to develop strong skills in supervising, childminding, and teaching in both formal and informal settings. I have taught Qur’anic studies, Tajweed, and General Islamic Studies to learners of various ages. I help students beautify their recitation, understand Tajweed rules with their reasoning, and connect with their faith on a deeper intellectual and spiritual level. Rather than relying on memorisation of rules alone, I focus on building true understanding, which leads to more lasting confidence and growth.
Bio
My goal is to make education enjoyable and engaging for students by adapting lessons to their individual learning styles, helping them reach their full potential. I am dedicated to creating structured, well-prepared lessons that combine education with elements of fun and excitement. By using innovative teaching methods—such as quizzes, games, and interactive activities—I ensure that students remain engaged, whether in a physical classroom or online. My approach blends academic instruction with creativity.
In my teaching, I prioritise active learning, using interactive intervals, visual explanations, and thoughtful discussions to make lessons dynamic and easy to follow. I also incorporate pastoral care, supporting not just academic development but the emotional and personal well-being of students. This helps learners feel safe, respected, and encouraged throughout their journey. One of my key strengths is adaptability. I carefully tailor each session to suit the age, level, interests, and goals of each student. Whether I’m working with young children or adults, I aim to create a supportive, well-rounded learning experience that meets their unique needs. I also believe in strong partnerships between parents, and learners. I stay in regular contact with parents and guardians, o ering updates, feedback, and ideas to help learners thrive both inside and outside the class. Through this balanced approach—combining solid instruction, personal care, and creativity—I’ve seen my students become more confident, engaged, and successful in their learning.
