Teaching Skills

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Islamic studies and have completed six years of formal study in Islamic Theology, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities, both in person and online.

As the Head Teacher of Ihyaa Academy, I have developed strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, student engagement, communication and supporting students according to their individual needs. I aim to make lessons enjoyable, interactive and easy to understand while maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment.

I am confident in teaching Islamic subjects and have experience helping students develop their knowledge, understanding and practical application of Islam. I am patient, approachable and able to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual learner.

I also have experience working alongside Teach Me Islam in online education, which has strengthened my ability to teach effectively through online platforms.

I am reliable, punctual and enthusiastic about helping students progress. My goal is not only to teach knowledge but also to inspire students to develop a genuine love for learning and apply what they learn in their daily lives.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in Islamic education, working with students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have taught Islamic Studies and supported students in developing their understanding and practical application of Islamic knowledge.

I am currently the Head Teacher of my own Madrasah, Ihyaa Academy, where I am responsible for teaching students, preparing and delivering lessons, monitoring progress and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Alongside this, I work with Teach Me Islam, providing online Islamic education and gaining further experience in delivering effective lessons remotely.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with children, young people and adults, adapting my teaching approach according to each learner’s individual needs and level. I have developed strong classroom management, communication, lesson-planning and student-support skills.

I am passionate about teaching and believe in creating lessons that are engaging, beneficial and easy to understand. I take pride in being patient, approachable, punctual and committed to helping every student make meaningful progress in their learning.

Alhamdulillah, I have undertaken six years of formal study in Islamic Theology, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, and have been actively involved in teaching Islamic studies and serving within the field of Deen for over ten years.

I am currently the Head Teacher of my own Madrasah, Ihyaa Academy, where I have gained valuable experience in teaching, managing students, developing educational programmes, and supporting learners of different ages and abilities. I also work alongside Teach Me Islam, contributing to online Islamic education and helping students develop their understanding and practice of Islam.

I consider myself a reliable, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for teaching and sharing beneficial Islamic knowledge. I am polite, confident, approachable, and comfortable working with people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

Throughout my years of teaching and involvement in Islamic education, I have developed excellent communication, organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. I take pride in maintaining excellent punctuality and attendance and in carrying out my responsibilities with commitment and professionalism.

I am confident in the knowledge and experience I have acquired and strive to share it with others in a clear, engaging, and beneficial manner. I have also undertaken a variety of roles within Islamic education, allowing me to develop a broad range of skills and experience.

My aim is to continue serving the Muslim community through teaching, education, and the propagation of authentic Islamic knowledge, while continually developing myself both professionally and personally.
